Happy 2018! We are thrilled to feature our first blog post of the year with this adorable duo, whom you might recall from their Cascais Dunes engagement session and Estufa Fria wedding.
We cannot believe how fast the time goes and how recent some of our past photography work seems despite the many months that divide us. Rejany and Raul arranged to meet for their Mr & Mrs session on one summer afternoon. It was actually quite a unique opportunitiy as the couple presently live in Angola. Those kind of get togethers always give us the chance get to meet the couple some months after their wedding, and we get to catch up on their honeymoon experience and see what they are currently up to. And that afternoon we learned that Rejany and Raul share a similar story to ours of how they got to know each other. With Fábio and I it was a coach connecting Florianópolis and São Paulo some 12 years ago, and for Rejany and Raul it was a flight connecting Luanda and Lisbon. Just like us, they happen to be at the right place in the right time at a travel journey they shared. That travel turned in to a life journey together.
Rejany followed our suggestion to pick Sintra woods as a background for the session. We thought that the robust greenery of that place contrasted well with her cream wedding dress. Just as was expected, the couple´s great disposision and positive spirit made the photographic experience even more pleasurable.
Thank you Rejany and Raul for all this wonderful time we spent together photographing your love! It has been a pleasure right from the first Skype chat we had, through your beautiful wedding. We hope to keep in touch with you and see your family growing! Much love!
