Very excited to be back on our blog with this adorable duo and their wedding at this gorgeous venue. It has been a long awaited opportunity for us to photograph wedding at the grounds of beautiful Quinta do Hespanhol. Nestled in the Alenquer region, this charming estate dates back to the XIVth century and covers quite a vast area of courtyards, perfectly kept gardens, playgrounds and a pine forest. We always heard such great reviews on this wedding venue and so when the couple announced they were booking us for their wedding, we were very much looking forward to finally getting to know this lovely, family-run estate.
And our expectations were much exceeded. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but their staff is ever so friendly and always ready to help!
It was a very hot July afternoon when S and P exchanged their vows. Adorable crowd cheering the couple consisted of guests from all parts of Europe including Sicily, the groom´s native land. The guest list also included a cute, four-legged family member from the bride´s side, whose adorable, “fluffy presence” delighted not only the youngest of guests 😉
The day was filled with happy tears we always love to photograph and much more laughter. You see, S and P were the most joyful couple and smile never leaves the bride´s beautiful face. Even her emails are full of light and energy! And speaking of energy, one of the highlights of the cocktail party were the “jazzbastic” tunes by Cottas Club Jazz Band. Never failing to impress and entertain, the band mingled in and led the happy crowd from the venue´s one courtyard to the other, making a great transition from ceremony place to reception and so on.
S & P wedding was a truly memorable one and one we feel very blessed to have documented. Thank you dear newly-weds for all your trust, laughs and your tireless patience with us to explore the Quinta´s lovely corners. We wish you much happiness for the years to come!
