Meet Neha and Nikhil, lovely couple from London that is just 10 days away from their Hindu Wedding in Portugal. Back in June, they came over for their engagement session in Lisbon and we had a real blast with the two getting to know them, hearing about their story and strolling through the streets of Lisbon in an early Spring morning. When the couple wishes to have their photo-session in the Captial we always recommend to start very early in the morning for two main reasons: the quality of light is much more favourable and tourists are fast asleep so we have the streets of Baixa to ourselves :)
And as much as sometimes it is more challenging for Fábio and myself (not morning people here :) ) , waking up with early birds really pays off, especially when you get to spend your morning in such an adorable company! Neha and Nikhil are fun, brilliant, compassionate and kind! They are both doctors and we have no doubt that God has beautiful plans for them!
We were positively surprised just how at ease they were in front of 2 cameras right from the first minute of the session! Their spontaneity and great disposition really paid off and we found out that Neha is actually a dancer so we made the most of her professional performer skills incorporating them in the photo shots. :) And a few weeks forward and we were honoured to receive Dimond Award by WPJA
for a few of them.
A couple of the sights that were on the Neha and Nikhil´s visit list was Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Miradouro das Portas do Sol . But when we arrived at those locations they were sealed off possibly for some renovation work. But early morning energy and being the only souls at this part of Lisbon gave us the courage to let go of our mischievous side and push the fence away and crash the gorgeous Lisbon sites making it all to ourselves for a moment :) Sometimes mischief pays off as we had some lovely shots there too!
Thank you Neha and Nikhil for such a wonderful morning in Lisbon! We cannot wait to meet you in just 10 days and see you two get married in Evora! Much love!
