After a while of being absent from our blog and from sharing happy wedding stories, we are delighted to be back with story of one of the most amazing couples: Morgane and Dylan
They contacted us as far as two years prior to their wedding ( Summer 2017 ) and our love for them was instant, right from our very first Skype call. They are both French, living not far from Paris, and they are both descendent of immigrants. Morgane has ancestors from Italy and Algeria, while Dylan´s parents are both Portuguese- hence also their choice of wedding location.
After months of sweet emails exchanges we finally met the duo in June of this year where we had the loveliest time strolling in Cascais and takings their engagement pictures.
It was a perfect time getting to know them and hearing all about their story and families. One of the favourite things about a wedding day is that Fábio l get to finally meet all of the people that we have heard our couple speak so highly of. And Morgane and Dylan´s family and friends were such a PLEASURE to meet and be around! They went all the extra mile to make sure the bride and groom were well taken care of and that Fábio and I had everything we needed for the perfect shots during pre-ceremony photos.
And the wedding was just perfect. Imagine a day where everything falls into place: the weather is just right, the location ceremony is breathtaking and the reception venue is one of photographers´ dream location :) Morgane and Dylan said their vows in the stunning Igreja Nossa Senhora da Olilveira located at the heart of Guimarães Old Town.
It has been classified as a National Monument since 1910 and it really stands out for it´s Medieval Architecture beauty and spendour.
The reception was held at our ever favourite north Portugal wedding venue, Quinta do Lago dos Cisnes. We have already photographed numerous events in this gorgeous location and i is always a pleasure to revisit the exotic place and their wonderful staff always so ready to help :) Morgane and Dylan had a wonderful day, one we wish we could go back over and over. We could tell straight away that these two amazing souls are deeply in love, and are truly excited about their new journey as a married couple. One really can tell when a couple is in love: it’s the way they look at each other; the way they treat each other and their respective families and the way they complement each other in small little details. And it is always inspiring for us to be a part of such happy and beautiful love stories!
