Words cannot fully explain how wonderful it was to work with Maria and Fábio. We were delighted, grateful and blessed we were to have Maria and Fábio as our wedding photographers! They are extremely talented, personable and helpful! We connected with them online and via calls because we were based in London.
Our engagement shoot was in Lisbon and sadly inclement weather did not permit us to stick with the planned photo shoot venue. Fábio and Maria reassured us and saved the day by changing their creative vision. We ended up with beautiful pictures shot in three distinct locations. Thanks for making us feel comfortable and encouraging us during the shoot!
When we returned to Lisbon 8 months later for our wedding, seeing Maria and Fábio felt like seeing old friends after a hiatus!

We recently got married on a gorgeous wine farm in Portugal and the venue recommended Fabio and Maria. How lucky we were to have two such wonderful and attentive photographers immortalising our special day. They made us feel so comfortable and truly captured the love and happiness we felt. They were unobtrusive and yet got all the shots! I would highly recommend them for their thorough and friendly service, viewing the end result just brought the day alive again..
Fabio & Maria, we wanted to say a HUGE huge thank you for everything you did for us at our wedding last week! For people that started off disliking taking photos of ourselves we now can’t wait to see all of them!! You worked so seamlessly with the videographers and my makeup artist and you were never intrusive, knowing how to be discret whilst still capturing some beautiful images. Bruna: Best decision ever! I found Fabio by checking his previous work online and I was instantly impressed. After emailing them, I had no doubts – Maria and Fabio were very lovely and super patient with all our questions. During the day, they were again amazing, there was no details missed and the composition of photos were perfection. I would not change a thing! Ronan and I wanted very natural photos to capture the moment, and we barely noticed Maria and Fabio thought out the night and the end result was a lovely album with full of pricelles emotions of all the guests. We find ourselves so lucky to have met Maria and Fabio! We truly love every picture they took for us. They really brought the emotions out and captured the moment. We also took their great advice to rent a beautiful antique boat and did two hours of shooting on it. It was amazing how many different angles and settings they were able to achieve in 3 hours! Besides, they are so kind and helpful, and even helped us on other things during our stay in Lisbon. They are such a loving and caring couple!

My husband and I were very lucky to have come across Fabio and Maria Azanha. I got married in Portugal a few weeks ago and last year I started to look for potential photographers. I had been recommended a few but I came across Fabio and Maria entirely by chance and fell in love with their photography style. They had the perfect mix of action and what I like to call ‘posey’ photos. Neither my husband or I are used to being photographed so the idea of someone constantly snapping away at us was daunting but Maria and Fabio make a great husband and wife team and put us at ease straightaway. They captured the essence of our wedding perfectly.
Fabio and Maria were the dream photographers we didn’t even know existed! They completely understood us from day one, they were gracious and lovely on the day but never imposing, and best of all, they are amazingly talented. The moments that they captured are even more magical than we expected and it absolutely didn’t feel like a chore. They adjusted their work to what we wanted and in our case without long, boring photo shoots. Still, for every special moment they were there and we don’t have enough words to thank them for it.
