Hey´all! We´re back on our blog today with this stunning Forte da Cruz Wedding we´ve been so eager to share with you as soon as the pictureswere edited. We are so fortunate to be getting to do what we do, so we can’t stop being profoundly thankful for the wonderful couples who entrust us the honour of capturing some of their most unique and precious memories!
Saloni and Brian´s Fusion Indian Wedding took place over three days and by the end of the gorgeous festivities, we ended up with such a great number of wonderful pictures, that we have had a very hard time picking just a limited number to concisely tell each day´s story:)
This vibrant and fun Sangeet and Mehndi evening took place at a stunning Estoril fortress Forte da Cruz situated just at a bay of the Tagus river. It is such a stunning location for a romantic do, and we´ve always wanted to photograph a Forte da Cruz wedding. Just the ideaof it being an old dated construction designed to defend a region gives a very unique feel to such a gorgeous edifice.
We started the afternoon making the most of this beautiful location and taking some portrait photographs. Just as it was expected Saloni and Brian naturally gave us the very best of them: verysweet chemistry candidly expressed through dancing, posing and simply enjoying the moment.
We only had less than half an hour before all the guests started to arrive. The couple together with their parents formally received all their guests and thus Sangeet and Mehndi party began. While planning their wedding celebrations, Saloni´s family made sure to enrich the Sangeet night with as many aspects of the Indian Culture as possible. So there were live food stations serving traditional Indian street dishes, there were belly dancers giving live performances and the ambient was filled with great Indian tunes.
Two girls were in charge of the Mehndiand they literally never stopped embellishing the ladies´ hands with beautiful Henna.
One of the highlights of the party was a dance performance by Saloni´s sister and girlfriends. It was a surprise for the couple and a fantastic way to start off the Sangeet.
