Farah & Hassan´s Enchanting Sintra Engagement

This Sintra engagement occurred a while ago, but we are happy to be sharing the story today. 

Farah and Hassan, a stunning couple hailing from the mesmerizing land of Egypt, have taken us on an unforgettable journey through their love story. Recently they celebrated their spectacular wedding in their homeland, Egypt, but prior to that they had their enchanting engagement in Sintra, which was nothing short of a fairy tale. As the privileged Portuguese wedding photographers who captured this magical event, we’re thrilled to share the details of their extraordinary day.

Farah and Hassan are not just a beautiful couple externally, but they radiate a rare inner beauty that captivates all who meet them. As wedding photographers, one of the greatest treasures we cherish is encountering inspiring people, those who infuse purpose into our work. Farah and Hassan embody precisely that kind of couple.

Our journey with this remarkable pair started when The Mad Kitchen, a renowned catering company, recommended our services to Hassan’s father, Mr Ihab. The honour of photographing such an important occasion was a privilege we deeply appreciated.

Our adventure began by capturing Farah getting ready at a charming Airbnb in the heart of Sintra. We then whisked the couple away to the magnificent Monserrate Palace for a captivating portrait session. Farah’s grace and beauty were effortless, complemented perfectly by Hassan’s striking presence, making the photo shoot an absolute pleasure.

After our visit to Monserrate Palace, we returned to Hassan’s father’s exquisite home in Sintra. It was here that Farah and Hassan united with their closest family members to formalize their engagement in the presence of their loved ones. The gorgeous couple´s families exuded warmth and genuine affection towards each other. Although many heartfelt speeches and stories were shared in their native Egyptian Arabic, which we didn’t understand, the emotional reactions of everyone present made it clear that a multitude of loving messages and sentiments were exchanged between the two families. The language barrier couldn’t mask the deep connection and emotions that were woven into this special evening!

The Mad Kitchen treated everyone to an array of delectable appetizers, followed by an exquisite open-air dining experience. The evening was adorned with warmth, and the clear skies set the perfect backdrop for a dinner under the stars.

As the dinner concluded, the younger members of the party ventured into the heart of Lisbon city centre for a night of dancing and jubilation with their beloved siblings. The celebration continued, and although we were no longer there to capture the fun, I am sure the siblings had a wonderful time.
